“After only two novels, Karen Harter is already being compared to contemporary blockbuster authors like Kristin Hannah and Anne Rivers Siddons. As fans of her engrossing family sagas know, she has a gift for invoking human experience with a tangible sense of reality – and frequent doses of humor. When critics describe her style, they use terms like “intriguing,” “inspirational,” and “beautiful prose.”

Autumn Blue, my second novel, has been nominated for a coveted RITA Award in the Inspirational Fiction category. I’m so honored, especially to be included amongst the other seven gifted finalists. Click the link on this page to read their interviews. The last time I rode a cable car I was a gangly teen with braces.
